Our client has multiple restaurants & cafes throughout Canterbury and was built on their passion to offer amazing food & services with the sole expectation that you will receive this every time you enter. They exist to offer their clientele a modern, relaxed eating experience through a blend of outstanding customer service, great food & beverages to match.

At present we are looking for a ‘Pastry / Café Chef’ to start immediately in LEESTON! Someone who is passionate about food & devoted to creating the most masterful pieces for this amazing company! Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:00pm! $22.00-$25.00 per hour!


  • Responsible For Making Sweet Items
  • Work Alongside The Sous-Chef
  • Create All Types Of Sweets (I.e.: Slices, Desserts, Function Desserts To Muffins, Scones, Etc.)

Successful candidates must have a minimum of TWO (2) years’ experience as well as a qualification equal to or equivalent to level 5 (or higher) in cookery. Our client is looking for someone with a background in catering, café or large scale operations (i.e.: hotels or function work) ideally.

The type of experience you hold will determine what other duties you can take-on. If, for example, you have pastry experience then you could make croissants & other pastries.

There are also opportunities to transition to other locations after a few weeks spent in Leeston. This transition will still require you to work in Leeston but a few days a month only.

MUST have a NZ working visa or be a permanent resident – unfortunately we cannot accept variations to visas.
